Amphoe Phra Phutthabat : ウィキペディア英語版 | Phra Phutthabat District
Phra Phutthabat ((タイ語:พระพุทธบาท)) is a district (''Amphoe'') located in Saraburi Province, Thailand. The district is named after the Phra Phutthabat Temple, meaning ''temple of Buddha's footprint''. In the 17th century a hunter found a puddle of water which looked like a (oversized) footprint. It was declared a footprint of Buddha, and the temple was built around it. Another well-known temple in the district is Wat Tham Krabok, both as a Hmong refugee camp and as for its drug rehabilitation program. ==Geography== Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Mueang Lop Buri and Phattana Nikhom of Lopburi Province, and Chaloem Phra Kiat, Sao Hai, Ban Mo, Nong Don.
